pretty flowers

I took these pictures the other day of a cyclamen plant that I inherited from my Mum when she died 6 years ago. It’s still going strong and has just started to flower again. These images were taken with two different lenses, a 70 – 200 f2.8 and a 24-70 f2.8 because I haven’t got a macro lens. I’m hoping that one arrives with the birthday pressies but somehow I doubt it.  The 70 – 200 was hard work because my tripod was at the studio and I had to hand hold the camera.

my  friend Sheila is the macro queen and her flower pictures are amazing. I’ll see if I can find some on the t’interweb for you to look at. In the meantime:



The flower buds remind me of little birds. Aawww, cute.
