Come in. Take off your shoes, put your feet up. There that’s better already, isn’t it?

Let’s spend a few minutes together and have a chat over a coffee and a garibaldi.  I’ve got some cracking stories to tell you about my family. They’re all as mad as a box of frogs so there’s always a tale to tell about one or the other of them.

If you’re extra nice I might even tell you about the exploits of Douggie the doggie, canine superstar.  I like to think I’m training him to be a dancing dog but really I think he’s training me to give him treats.

Sometimes  I share a few of my photos. It keeps me out of mischief taking photos. Every now and then I take a good one so I like to show it off.

It’s always nice to hear from you too so please, chat back. I feel daft talking to myself.

  1. Hello,

I have been surfing and reading through your blog for almost a hour now. I felt like a little boy digging through his granny’s attic on a rainy Saturday.

Of course you are way to young to be my granny and I am way to old to be a little boy.

Still it was great. I din’t really know what to expect next. I was reading backwards. Going to the next oldest story each time. You are a natural word smith. Most of the pictures seemed to jump off the screen

Keep up the sharing. I am sure that there are many that enjoy it a s much as I have .

  2. Thanks for reading my post yesterday,Lesley. Just been browsing your blog. Good stuff.

    1. Hahaaa Tell Millie that Boofuls is gutted that it’s tail wags and not footballer’s wags.
I’m looking forward to reading about Millie’s exploits

How lovely of you to drop by at my place and deciding to keep up with my ‘experiments’…I’m going to be digging through yours as I can see some very interesting photographs in your sidebar…also already read up your ‘carpet story’ chapters…hilarious! Be seeing you then..

    1. Thank you so much for the nomination, I really do appreciate it. However, It’s only a few days since someone else nominated me for it so I will have to decline. Thanks again 😀

  4. What a fun blog! I love your sense of humor and the way you write, it makes me smile. 🙂 I will keep reading! 🙂 Have a lovely day!

  5. Lesley, thanks so much for the follow over on my blog. I’m enjoying beginning to click around on yours. Your photos are awesome and I look forward to learning more about your writing as we go along. Did the name of your blog come from a specific incident or is there some irony there?!

    1. Hi Pat, Thank you for dropping in for a browse round, you’re always welcome. The name of my blog comes from my twenty year old black cat, Pebbles. In recent years she has taken to sleeping in some very odd places and I often trip over her in the dark. I was inspired to use the name for the blog after yet another tripping incident. Ha. I’ve just realised that sounded drug related. It wasn’t 😀

  6. What an interesting and entertaining blog! My husband wondered what was wrong with me as I stared at my computer cackling like a mad woman. May 2015 be filled with love, health, and happiness for you and yours!

    1. Thank you so much for that lovely comment. The first thing I do when I get up in the morning is check my emails and your comment got my day off to a lovely start 😀 Feel free to come back anytime, you’re always welcome.
